Although the source code is copyright 1995 by CE Software, Inc., it is NOT a CE Software product. You CANNOT get any support on it. It's completely UNGUARANTEED and may crash your computer and cause loss of data. (I hope not, and tried not, but again, it's a HACK.)
NewStuff adds a hierarchical menu to your Finder's NewFolder menu choice. It creates a folder named "New Documents" in your system folder, and any files in that folder will appear on that hierarchical menu. These files should be various new documents for your various applications. If you prefer documents set up with specific fonts, styles, formulas, whatever, you can make a file as you like it and put it in that folder.
When you select one of those file names, NewStuff copies that file into your Finder's window (whereever NewFolder would have created the folder). It's a copy, so you can open and modify it without changing your "blank" document in the New Documents folder.
NewStuff requires system 7 (although it's only been tested on 7.5). It is an evil hack and so may not work on systems after 7.5.1 (and definitely will not work on Copland).
